Founder & Chief Executive Officer

Sharon Omondi is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SAO Fire Innovations, leading the company’s strategic direction, operations, business development and global commercialisation strategy. With a background in criminal justice and more than eight years of experience in strategic operations, global client management and institutional capital acquisition, she brings a strong combination of operational leadership and commercial strategy to the company. Her vision is to advance fire protection through Total Loss Minimisation, with a focus on reducing secondary damage, protecting high-value assets and preserving forensic evidence critical to fire investigations and criminal justice. She is focused on building SAO into a globally relevant fire protection technology company and translating its technology into scalable commercial opportunities across international markets.

Dr Ali Hussain is the Co-Founder of SAO Fire Innovations, directing the company's technical vision and product advancement. An accomplished experimental physicist, he brings over 20 years of experience delivering complex projects across academia and the UK space industry - specialising in taking instrumentation from concept (TRL0) to flight-ready deployment (TRL9). He is also the inventor of patented FT spectroscopic technology and a veteran of successful commercial spinouts. Parallel to his scientific career, Ali has served as an on-call firefighter for over 20 years. This rare combination of elite physics expertise and frontline emergency experience gives him an unparalleled understanding of fire behaviour. At SAO Fire Innovations, he leverages this unique insight to develop next-generation fire protection solutions engineered for high-value, high-demand environments.

Silas Atonga

Company Secretary & Legal Counsel

Silas Atonga serves as Company Secretary and provides legal counsel to SAO Fire Innovations, advising the company on corporate governance, legal and regulatory matters, contractual arrangements and the protection of its corporate interests. He supports the company's legal and governance framework as SAO develops strategic partnerships, raises capital, protects its intellectual property and prepares for international commercialization. His role provides the legal and governance foundation necessary for SAO to operate responsibly and build a strong, investment ready global company.

Chief Financial Officer

Hilda Nduati serves as Chief Financial Officer of SAO Fire Innovations, providing financial leadership across strategic planning, capital management, financial governance and resource allocation. She plays a key role in establishing the financial structures required to support technology development, investment, commercialization and international growth. Her oversight ensures that SAO's expansion is supported by disciplined financial management and a sustainable approach to scaling the business.
